Hertford MCR is the Middle Common Room of Hertford College, Oxford. It is the heart of the graduate community at Hertford, located in the Octagon building in the New Buildings (NB) Quad.
The MCR is a space to socialise, study, eat cake and drink tea! It is ours to look after and build a community in.
Hello everyone,
A very warm welcome to the Hertford College Middle Common Room (MCR), especially to all the new fawns joining Hertford for the first time. To all returning deer, and to our associate members — welcome back!
My name is Nick, and I'll be your MCR President this year, alongside our Vice President Bikem, Treasurer Chloe, Social Secretary Findlay, and the rest of our committee — you can meet everyone on the ‘About us’ page.
Hertford has a wonderful graduate community, with our own MCR spaces on the main College site. Throughout the year we host a full calendar of events, from exchange dinners and parties to welfare teas and academic talks, so there's always something happening in the Octagon.
